What you're paying for

A tablao is a flamenco venue, and the same show is often sold in several formats: alone, with a drink or with dinner. At Torres Bermejas you go from €31 with nothing to drink, in the side area, to €39 with a drink. At Los Tarantos it's €30, then €35 with a drink and €60 with tapas dinner at the Expat restaurant.

If you're only there for the dancing, buy the simplest ticket and eat afterwards on your own.

Check cancellation too. On Tiqets you can't cancel Los Tarantos, Tablao Cordobés, Tablao de Carmen, Kelipé, Cuevas del Sacromonte Los Tarantos or the Córdoba show. Most of the others can be cancelled before the date or time slot.

Flamenco shows in Madrid

Torres Bermejas, at Mesonero Romanos, 11, opens every day with shows at 17:00, 19:00 and 21:00. For the 17:00 show, the room opens at 16:30. Cardamomo, at Echegaray, 15, has four shows a day, with different artists each week and tapas at all of them.

Flamenco shows in Seville

The Flamenco Dance Museum, at Manuel Rojas Marcos, 3, suits you if you know nothing about flamenco, because it pairs a museum with a show. The show lasts an hour, with performances at 17:00, 19:00 and 20:45, and costs €29. The museum is €6 and the combined ticket €33, worth it if you'll see both. Children aged 6 to 12 pay €15 and €19.

Flamenco shows in Barcelona

Los Tarantos, on Plaça Reial, puts on a 40-minute show that works well when you're short of time. Tablao Cordobés has been on La Rambla since 1970. Tiqets also has Palau Dalmases and Tablao de Carmen.

Granada, Málaga, Córdoba and Valencia

Tiqets sells Casa Ana and Cuevas del Sacromonte Los Tarantos in Granada, Alegría and Kelipé in Málaga, La Bulería, El Toro y La Luna and Palosanto in Valencia, and a show with a drink in Córdoba. Before choosing, compare each ticket's format and cancellation terms, and look at the price on the venue's own website.
