Only groups of 20 people or more need to book. Everyone else can buy online or at the ticket office. The Family Pack and Día del esPEZtador are sold online only.

Opening hours

September to June: Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00; Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 to 19:00. July and August: Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 19:00; Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 to 20:00. The ticket office and the route entrance close an hour earlier. Open every day of the year, some with changed hours.

Ticket office or online

With two adults and two children up to 14, the €49 family pack beats the €62 you'd pay at the ticket office, but it's sold online only. The Día del esPEZtador rate is also online only, with limited places: €13 for adults and €9 for children. Look for it on the aquarium's website before you buy.

Last entry and house rules

Don't arrive late: the ticket office and entrance shut an hour before closing, and the route takes about 90 minutes. You can take photos, without flash, and you can't bring food or drink in, apart from water. The aquarium has no car park of its own; there's a paid underground one nearby.
