The cathedral publishes free access from 7:30 to 9:30 and from 18:30 to 20:30; on Sundays, from 7:30 to 13:30 and from 18:30 to 20:30. For the cultural visit and the Miguelete, entry is free for under-8s, official guides of the Comunidad Valenciana, priests, monks and nuns, and companions of people with a certified disability of 65% or more.

Two tickets: cathedral and tower

The cathedral's paid "cultural visit" costs €12 and includes the cathedral museum and an audio guide in 10 languages. The Miguelete tower is €3 extra, so the two come to €15.

They don't open at the same time. The tower opens every day from 10:00 to 18:45, with last entry half an hour earlier. The cultural visit starts at 10:30 and, on Sundays, at 14:00. The Miguelete terrace holds 50 people at most, so you may have to wait.

Check last entry before you go. Outside July, August and September it's 17:30 on weekdays and 16:30 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Free access outside the visit

The cathedral publishes free access outside the cultural visit: 7:30 to 9:30 and 18:30 to 20:30, and on Sundays 7:30 to 13:30 and 18:30 to 20:30. The museum and audio guide go with the paid ticket.

Family pack and card discounts

The €22 family pack covers two adults and up to three children aged 8 to 17. It beats two general and two reduced tickets, which would come to €36.

The Valencia Tourist Card takes 20% off at the cathedral, and with the 7-day version entry is free.

When a tour is worth paying for

The audio guide is already in the ticket, so a guided tour makes sense if you want a person telling the story or want to link several monuments. The GetYourGuide tours combine the cathedral with San Nicolás and the Lonja de la Seda.
