Two cards with the same name

Watch out: the card with transport doesn't include the Cathedral.

24, 48 and 72 hours 7 days
Public transport Yes No
Tapa with a drink Yes No
14 municipal museums and monuments Yes Yes
Cathedral and cathedral museum 20% off Included
IVAM 50% off Included

Do the sums

The 14 municipal museums and monuments cost €2 each, so on their own they do little to justify a card. Transport is what counts: according to Visit València, the return metro to the airport costs €9.60 and each city bus trip €2.

24 to 72 hours. In its own example, Visit València works out a saving of €37.55 per person. The 72-hour card costs €27 on its website. If you're sleeping in the centre and walking everywhere, the numbers may not work for you.

7 days. The Cathedral alone costs €12, and the card €13.50 on the official website. Add IVAM (€5) or two municipal museums and it has paid for itself. Check your calendar first: IVAM is free on Sundays and Wednesday afternoons, and the Fallas Museum and the Lonja on Sundays and public holidays.

Children. Those up to 15 get into municipal museums free, so their card only makes sense for transport or discounts.

Visit València, Tiqets or GetYourGuide

On the Visit València website it costs 10% less than the list price, and you then collect the physical card. Tiqets and GetYourGuide sell it too, so before buying, see how it's delivered. Visit València gives no refund once the card is handed over; Tiqets lets you cancel before the date.

You can only use the card once at each attraction. At the City of Arts and Sciences and the Bioparc it gives 10% off, not entry.
