Weekends end at 15:00

On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays it closes at 15:00, and the visit needs an hour and a half to two hours, so leave Plaça Espanya in the morning. Guided tours run on those days only, at 12:00 and 12:30, and the languages alternate: Spanish at 12:30 on Saturdays and at 12:00 on Sundays, with Catalan in the other slot. On weekdays it's open until 17:00 and you can take your time.

Combinat Güell or a separate train ticket

The Combinat covers the round-trip train from Plaça Espanya and the visit with audio guide for €15.80. It's the easiest option, with one condition: you collect the ticket at the FGC station at Plaça Espanya before 13:30.

The colony and the inside of the crypt are accessible; the choir and the roof aren't.
