Basic, guided or with a tower

The basic ticket (€26) covers the basilica and the museum, with an audio guide on the official app. Towers and the crypt aren't included. Bring a charged phone and headphones. With a guided tour it's €30: about 50 minutes with one of the basilica's own guides, and then you see the museum on your own. A tower takes it to €36, and guide plus tower to €40.

The small print on the towers

You choose between the Nativity and Passion towers. You go up by lift and come down on foot, so it doesn't work with reduced mobility. Under-6s can't go up, and backpacks and bags go into storage. If the tower closes, you get no refund. The Tower of Jesus Christ isn't one of the options.

If Sagrada Família tickets are sold out

Official website or a reseller

If your time is available on the official website, buy there: it's the base price and you deal with them directly. Its terms say it doesn't accept tickets bought from a reselling company, and each ticket is in the visitor's name. Stay away from person-to-person resale, and check exactly what any third-party seller gives you before you pay. A reseller makes sense when you want a small-group tour or a combo with another sight. For plain entry, it doesn't.

ID, clothing and the hour of silence

Bring your passport or Spanish DNI ID card: the details on the ticket can't be corrected afterwards. If you're late, you don't get in. Trousers and skirts must cover at least to mid-thigh, and caps and hats aren't allowed inside. From 9:00 to 10:00 is the hour of silence, and headphones are compulsory.
