Free for under-16s and CaixaBank customers
Under-16s and CaixaBank customers don't pay. Everyone else pays €8, except on the three days that are free for all: 15 February, 18 May and 24 September.
The planetarium costs extra
The ticket covers the permanent and temporary exhibitions. The planetarium and other activities have their own price and require a museum ticket as well, so add the two together. You'll find prices and times on the CosmoCaixa website.
Uptown, and open on Mondays
The museum is in the upper part of the city, on Carrer d'Isaac Newton. It's served by bus lines H2, H4, V13, V15, V17, V19, 196 and 123. It opens daily until 20:00, Mondays included, when almost all the art museums are closed.
Tickets are on sale until 30 minutes before closing. At Christmas the museum is closed on 25 December, 1 January and 6 January, and it closes early, at 18:00, on 24 December, 31 December and 5 January.
