Booking
You don't need to book, although the operator advises it on weekends, public holidays and in high season. The ticket office is open until one hour before closing.
Opening hours
November to March, every day 10:00 to 18:00, last entry 17:00. April to October, 10:00 to 19:00, last entry 18:00. It closes earlier on bullfight days: 10:00 to 16:00 during San Isidro, and 10:00 to 15:00 on bullfight days in March.

25 December and 1 January. The tour posts one-off closures for events at the bullring on its website.

The tour isn't the bullfight

Plenty of people searching for "Las Ventas tickets" want to see a bullfight. This page is about visiting the bullring: it happens by day, with no bulls, and takes in the ring, the terraces and the Museo Taurino (bullfighting museum). Tickets for bullfights are separate and follow their own calendar.

Pick your day with care

During the San Isidro festival and on bullfight days the bullring closes early and the route can be cut short. On weekends, public holidays and in high season, booking online helps secure a place. Arrive at least an hour before closing.

The tour's hours page also lists one-off closures for events at the bullring.

Audio guide or private guide

The standard ticket is self-guided, with an audio guide in 11 languages and a bullfighting simulator with VR glasses. The private tour only pays off if you're really interested in bullfighting.

You enter through the Puerta Grande, opposite Ventas metro station on line 2.
